I just bought a 1983 Buick Electra Park Avenue to restore and either use for cruising or resale. My problem is this: said car was a seized vehicle and I got it in a government auction… Since it was seized, I have no title to it. I have a bill of sale and forfeiture papers.

My question is this: Do I need to acquire a title for it, and if I do, how do I go about this?
